Umi Hoegwan Jonggak Main Branch is a Korean bar and restaurant near Jonggak Station in Jongno, Seoul, serving hanwoo (Korean beef) butchered the same day in Daegu. At Umi Hoegwan the order was hanwoo yuk-sashimi (raw beef tartare) and braised oxtail, eaten with a gochujang-based sauce, gamtae seaweed and egg yolk, with corkage free for one bottle of wine, whiskey or sake. A good-looking spot in Jongno for a glass of soju with proper beef.
