Korean BBQ in Siheung: fiery bul-naengmyeon at Gongdan Gamjatang
Gongdan Gamjatang Samgyeopsal Siheung Main Branch is a butcher-style Korean BBQ restaurant in Jang-gok-dong, Siheung, Gyeonggi, running for 37 years. One meat platter came with free gamjatang (pork bone stew), a rice bowl of stir-fried pork and fried rice, but the dish that stayed with us was Mot-ijeo Bul-naengmyeon (fiery cold noodles), developed by the manager himself — mixed with all the sauce, none held back, and finished with an extra noodle order.
