Yeouido IFC Mall tteokbokki, ₩23,000 set packed to go: Hyeonseonine
Hyeonseonine Premium IFC Mall Branch is a Korean snack restaurant on B2 of IFC Mall in Yeouido, Seoul, right in front of the moving walkway at Yeouido Station Exit 3, and a direct-run branch of Hyeonseonine tteokbokki, which began as a Yongsan food cart in 2004. With another appointment to get to, the writer ordered the ₩23,000 Hyeonseoni Set — tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), fritters, sundae (blood sausage) and gimbap (seaweed rice rolls) — in the non-spicy version for takeout, and the staff wrapped it so carefully that not a drop of broth leaked. Good value in Yeouido, and spice-shy eaters should choose non-spicy rather than medium.
