Paju family restaurant with a kids' dessert zone: Bubyeokjeong mandu

Bubyeokjeong Pyeongyang Mandu is a Pyeongyang-style handmade mandu (dumpling) restaurant at 129 Jimok-ro in Paju, Gyeonggi. Arriving with the kids at 6:30 p.m., the writer ordered two servings of Pyeongyang mandu hot pot for 28,000 won, Pyeongyang mul-makguksu (cold buckwheat noodles) and mungbean pancake, then finished the broth with knife-cut noodles; the restaurant also has a self-serve corner, baby chairs, a microwave and a dessert zone with roasted grain drink and snacks. For a family dinner before or after shopping at Paju Lotte Outlet, Bubyeokjeong Pyeongyang Mandu is an easy pick.

Kid-friendly lamb skewer restaurant in Paju Unjeong: Sannaemaeul

Sannaemaeul Yang Kkochi & Qingdao is a lamb skewer and Chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor of World Tower 3 in Sannae Village, Unjeong, Paju. The writer's family stopped in for a second round after dinner and ordered one yang kkochi (lamb skewer) and one lamb rib meat skewer, and the elementary-school kids dipped them generously in cumin and asked for a second order. The lamb rib meat had no gamy smell and stayed tender, which made Sannaemaeul Yang Kkochi & Qingdao an easy pick for eating out with children.
