Couple compares malatang spice level 1 vs 2 in Suwon: Rahongbang

Rahongbang Malatang Suwon Cheoncheon Branch is a pick-your-own-ingredients malatang restaurant in Cheoncheon-dong, Suwon. A couple visited together, with the wife ordering spice level 1 and the husband level 2, and added mini guobaorou for ₩12,000 and shrimp egg fried rice for ₩9,000. It's a solid spot for couples with different spice tolerances to each order their own level and eat a filling meal together.

Dongtan izakaya with an aged sashimi platter: Susanjang Dongtan Branch

Susanjang Dongtan Branch is a seafood izakaya near the north plaza in Dongtan, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi, and it was only two weeks old at the time of this visit. The Susanjang Mixed Seafood Platter Special (64,000 won) came with aged red seabream, flounder and sea bass sashimi plus scallop, abalone, sea cucumber and rock sea squirt, ordered alongside butter-grilled rice cake (9,000 won) and a Chill Green highball (8,500 won). Even the complimentary grilled flatfish was well made, so Susanjang Dongtan Branch is a good pick for aged sashimi and seafood over a few drinks.
