Apgujeong pasta spot, early lunch & meat-piled rose pasta: Eulji Darak
In short
Eulji Darak Apgujeong Dosan Park (을지다락 도산공원점) is a Western restaurant on the 2nd floor of a building in Apgujeong, Gangnam, Seoul, a 7–10 minute walk from Apgujeongnodeo Station Exit 5. On an early lunch visit to a quiet dining room, the writer ordered the Darak omurice, Darak rose pasta heaped with ground meat, chop pork neck steak and Darak ade; the rose pasta and the moist omurice stood out. For the atmosphere, presentation and flavor, Eulji Darak's prices are reasonable, making it a solid pick for a date or blind date in Apgujeong.

Today I visited Eulji Darak Dosan Park (을지다락 도산공원점), a famous pasta restaurant in Apgujeong. The mood and the look of the food were both perfect for a date! Let me introduce it right away.
Eulji Darak Dosan Park hours and how to get there
Eulji Darak Dosan Park is open from 11:30 to 21:15. Break time is 15:15–16:30 (none on weekends), and last orders are at 14:30 and 20:30. It is about 520m from Apgujeongnodeo Station Exit 5, and I got there in 7–10 minutes on foot.
There is no parking space of its own, so I recommend public transport rather than driving.
What building is Eulji Darak Dosan Park in?
The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of a building with a European-style café on the ground floor. Below is the exterior.

It sits on the 2nd floor of a building with a European-feeling café on the first floor.

I went up the wooden stairs and stepped inside.
Atmosphere inside Eulji Darak Dosan Park
The interior has white tables, plush cushioned sofas and round lights on the ceiling. Below is the inside.

Maybe because we came for an early lunch, there were hardly any customers yet. That made it easy to get good photos of the place.

True to its reputation as a famous Apgujeong date spot, the atmosphere was great. White tables, soft cushioned sofas, and those round ceiling lights... I could see why it is also known as a blind-date hotspot.
We took an empty seat and ordered.
Eulji Darak Dosan Park menu and what we ordered
The restaurant serves a range of Western dishes: steak, pasta and the signature omurice (omelet rice). Below is the menu.

We ordered the signature Darak omurice, the chop pork neck steak, the Darak rose pasta and the Darak ade.
- Darak omurice
- Darak rose pasta
- Chop pork neck steak
- Darak ade
We ordered, chatted for a bit, and the food was served quickly.
How was the chop pork neck steak?
Eulji Darak's chop pork neck steak comes with thick pork cut into bite-size pieces and plenty of vegetables. First up, the steak.

Thick pork cut into bite-size pieces, served with a generous heap of vegetables.

The meat was chewy and bursting with juices, which was delicious, but the garnish vegetables served alongside soaked up the seasoning so well that their salty flavor was really tasty.

Darak rose pasta piled with ground meat
Unlike ordinary rose pasta, Eulji Darak's Darak rose pasta comes topped with a big heap of ground meat. The aroma and richness of the ground meat is the signature.

Then the rose pasta arrived. I assumed it would look like the rose pasta I know, but this one was piled really high with ground meat.

Because of that, the aroma and flavor of the ground meat came through really strongly, and it paired wonderfully with the pasta.

Above all, the noodles were cooked perfectly.
The signature Darak omurice
The Darak omurice, Eulji Darak's signature, has an egg on top that is so moist and soft that the texture was amazing.
The fried rice inside was seasoned just right too, and above all the egg and sauce went together beautifully.

Darak ade
The Darak ade is sweet and sour, and goes well with whatever dish you eat it with.

The glass was pretty too, so it was a joy to look at.
Is Eulji Darak Dosan Park a good date spot?
The atmosphere here is wonderful, and the food looks great and tastes great. The prices are good too, so it is perfectly fine as a date or blind-date spot.

- Clean, upscale interior and atmosphere
- Very appetizing-looking food
- Reasonable prices for the looks and taste
- Famous as an Apgujeong pasta restaurant, suitable for dates and blind dates
