As soon as you arrive at Chat Baker, you're greeted by the refreshingly large exterior and a spacious private parking lot.

Even with lots of weekend day-trippers and families, you can park comfortably without any parking stress — a very convenient first impression, pass!!!

Once you open the door and step inside, the high ceilings and sunlight pouring in through the floor-to-ceiling windows give you an incredibly open, breath-taking feeling!!

What's on the menu at Chat Baker

The menu really has a lot going on~ since it's summer, there's even bingsu (shaved ice)!! Genuinely delicious!!!

On top of that, brunch, drinks, bakery items~ packed full, all around.

Next time I'll definitely try the cake...!!!

How does the Johnsonville rosé cream risotto taste?

If you think of a café as only serving light desserts, you're way off — Chat Baker's brunch menu is genuinely solid quality.

What I ordered: the Johnsonville rosé cream risotto. Thick and smooth rosé cream sauce with rice that still has some bite,

and on top, a big, plump Johnsonville sausage placed on looking absolutely appetizing,

and when you slice the sausage with a knife and eat it together with the risotto, the juice bursts out and the spicy-sweet creamy sauce makes you finish the whole bowl in no time haha.

And how filling it was, so filling~

There's also the classic ham cheese bread, golden-baked bread packed full of salty ham and richly melted cheese!! It's a crispy-outside, chewy-inside sweet-salty combo, so the kids happily held it with both hands and ate it up haha.

The condensed milk cream salt bread, filled inside with sweet and smooth condensed milk cream..

When the buttery flavor and saltiness of the salt bread meet the sweet cream, it melts in your mouth — pure heaven, ugh ㅜㅜ

And the chocolate scone — how crispy on the outside and dense on the inside it was..

With rich chocolate chips packed in between, the deep chocolate flavor spreads heavily the more you chew — perfect for a sugar recharge!!!

What does the Yeoksam-dong Tiger drip coffee taste like?

And of course, coffee, which would be a shame to skip. Clean balance — the Yeoksam-dong Tiger drip coffee is the signature drip coffee that pairs perfectly with sweet bread!!!

Clear and clean without any heaviness.. a subtle aroma on the first sip, and a pleasant nuttiness in the aftertaste~ totally my style haha.

You could call it the best pairing to wash away the richness of the sweet bakery and brunch~ yoohoo~
