I visited on June 8, 2026. I recently made a trip to Yangjae :-) My husband absolutely loves nuts, and I heard there was a great assorted pie place using walnuts near Dogok-dong, so we went 🫶 It's healthy right down to the name: Hodu Kkakki Brothers (호두까끼형제)!

Where to park near Hodu Kkakki Brothers in Yangjae
Sadly, the shop has no parking lot of its own~ It's in an alley, so getting a car in isn't easy, and I'd recommend public transport if you can! For those driving, here's the paid lot the shop recommends, plus a nearby public lot I found myself.
- SK Herb Primo paid parking lot (recommended by the shop!): 1 minute on foot to the shop
- Eonju Elementary School public parking lot (recommended for its good prices!): close to Yangjae Station Exit 4, 7–8 minutes on foot to the shop
Hodu Kkakki Brothers storefront and atmosphere
The shop is on the ground floor of a building. The cute signboard and gorgeous red door stand out from far away, so I found it easily without getting lost~

Can you eat in at Hodu Kkakki Brothers?
No dine-in here, it's takeout only! The inside is cute and cozy, and it's perfect for grabbing a gift or something for a home party.

A variety of pies were lined up in the showcase :-) Hodu Kkakki Brothers is sugar-free: instead of refined sugar, they say they use oligosaccharide syrup, honey and maple syrup. They also say they carefully select premium ingredients like organic flour, rice flour and natural milk butter. It's a dessert that suits elders and kids perfectly⭐

Hodu Kkakki Brothers menu and prices
Hodu Kkakki Brothers sells a range of drinks, whole pies and single-slice pies~ The prices are pretty friendly :-) (Gangnam prices, quality ingredients..! What is going on with these prices..!) They say single-slice items can vary depending on the day.

The whole pies, great for gifts or parties, are the Premium Mix Pie, Premium Walnut Pie and Nut & Cream Pie~ You can even build a custom combination, which totally hits my taste..💗

What we ordered at Hodu Kkakki Brothers
- Premium Mix Pie ₩34,900
- Iced americano ₩4,900
- Total ₩39,800

How does the Hodu Kkakki Brothers iced americano taste?
The iced americano (₩4,900) had a touch of acidity, wrapped in that signature nutty richness, and it was delicious haha. They say the coffee uses a fire-roasted special blend of beans (Kenya, Colombia and Indonesia).

8-piece Premium Mix Pie: what's inside and how it tastes
The Premium Mix Pie (₩34,900) was packed in a sturdy box so the contents wouldn't get crushed. You can tell they put thought into the packaging!

The Premium Mix Pie holds 8 pieces in total. I took one of each pie in the shop, and two of the matcha pie~ Doesn't it look so pretty~?
- Original pecan pie
- Signature walnut pie
- Hazelnut cacao pie
- Cream cheese walnut pie
- Macadamia cheese pie
- Matcha cream walnut pie
- Milk cream walnut pie

My nut-lover husband absolutely loved it, and even my mother-in-law, who usually prefers healthy flavors, raved about how good it was! With our 6-year-old prince eating it up too, it's officially a unanimous, all-ages favorite. TMI) The matcha and cream cheese ones were my favorites🤍

How to store Hodu Kkakki Brothers pies
They say the pies are best eaten within 7 days in the fridge (within 4 days for cream pies) or within 3 weeks in the freezer. Apparently they taste even better cold❄️
- Fridge: within 7 days (cream pies within 4 days), eat straight from the fridge
- Freezer: within 3 weeks, thaw naturally at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before eating

They also run an offline shop as well~! Next time I need a gift or want a healthy pie, I think Hodu Kkakki Brothers will be the first place that comes to mind🤎
