Pocheon lakeside café with ang-butter salt bread: Geurine Oasis
Geurine Oasis is a large bakery café in Sohol-eup, Pocheon, Gyeonggi, set in two buildings — a main hall and an annex — right in front of Gomo Reservoir. Arriving around 1pm, the writer ordered two decaf iced Americanos and an ang-butter (red bean and butter) salt bread, then settled into a shaded outdoor seat for a long look at the water, with the coffee served in reusable cups you can take home. Geurine Oasis is worth the drive when you want fresh air and nature in Pocheon on a clear day.
