How to get to Ieum Men's Hair Bupyeong

Ieum Men's Hair Bupyeong is on the 3rd floor of the building across from Hi Table Bupyeong. It's 200m from Exit 21-B of the Bupyeong Central Underground Shopping Center, but since it's on the 3rd floor, keep your eyes peeled as you look for it!

There's a shampoo area on one side,

and there are lockers for your clothes and bags, plus phone chargers too~

Before: a 6-week-old, grown-out down perm

This is how my hair looked about 6 weeks after my last cut. Pretty shaggy, right? It's frizzy, the length is all over the place, it's sticking out in spikes, and the down perm has loosened so my head looks even bigger, hahaha

How does Designer Lee Yun's men's cut go?

Designer Lee Yun divided my hair into sections and started in on the cut. She took the sides down with a clipper, nice and clean~ Jjong (my buddy who keeps saying he wants a buzz cut) ㅠ No buzz cut allowed....!

Look at all that hair getting snipped off with a satisfying crunch, haha. She's trimming the length bit by bit with scissors, cutting carefully. She matched the overall length and lines and cut very thoroughly!

Thinning out the heavy hair with thinning shears

She also thinned out the density with thinning shears. Lightly thinning the hair that had gotten bulky as my cut interval ran long made it feel so much neater! She's keeping the overall length while taking weight out of the heavy parts, haha

The down perm process at Ieum Men's Hair Bupyeong

After the cut was neatly done, she moved on to applying the down perm solution. Even for just one side, she carefully applied it over and over. Designer Lee Yun's attention to detail is the best~!

After applying the perm solution, she placed paper on the hair and pressed it down firmly to set it. See how thoroughly it's applied?

After the perm solution was processed, I went and got my shampoo done too! Then she trimmed the overall length and lines once more, carefully. With the finishing cut, a neat style was gradually coming together, haha

How did it turn out after the cut and down perm?

After finishing the cut and down perm at Ieum Men's Hair Bupyeong, my hair looks much neater than before! The bulky-looking hair has settled down calmly, and the overall line is much cleaner.

It really does seem important for guys to take care of their hair regularly too. Changing just the hairstyle changes your whole impression and can make you look much tidier and neater, haha. I'll keep my cut schedule on track from now on to keep this clean style.
