Window-seat chimaek with outdoor vibes at Haenggung Jangjak, Suwon
Haenggung Jangjak Hanbang Tongdak is an oak firewood-roasted chicken restaurant on Suwon's Tongdak-geori (chicken street). After watching the jazz festival, the writer opened the doors at 5pm for a first-floor window seat, ordering the ₩23,000 herbal firewood-roasted chicken and three glasses of Terra draft beer at ₩5,000 each, with breeze drifting through the floor-to-ceiling windows for an open-air feel. The oil-free, clean-tasting chicken paired with cold draft beer makes it a great dinner spot for a date in Haenggung-dong.
