Bueokgan Restaurant is a Western-style restaurant on the first floor of Shinsegae Simon Busan Premium Outlets in Gijang, Busan. On a weekend visit with a child, the writer ordered sweet potato fries, carbonara and rocket prosciutto pizza, and Bueokgan brought out a baby chair along with a pink kids' tray and cup. For families who want to shop and eat in one stop, Bueokgan was an easy, comfortable choice.
Dongam Tteokgalbi is a Korean restaurant serving tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patty) set meals on Gijang Haean-ro in Gijang, Busan. On a day out to Haedong Yonggungsa and the Osiria tourist complex, we stopped for lunch and ordered the Dongam Tteokgalbi set (15,000 won) and the Cheese Tteokgalbi set (18,000 won), and the self-bar with tteokbokki, sausages, steamed egg and thick doenjang stew made the meal far more filling. With a large parking lot on the first floor of the building and an air-conditioned waiting zone, Dongam Tteokgalbi is an easy lunch stop for families arriving by car.
