Jukdo Market shrimp set for two in Pohang: Gallilli Daegae Hoe
Gallilli Daegae Hoe Sikdang is a snow crab and sashimi restaurant on Jukdo Market-gil in Pohang, Gyeongbuk. Instead of the snow crab set eaten in crab season, this visit was for the lighter shrimp set for two, served course by course: abalone porridge, soy-marinated crab, Pohang-style mulhoe (cold spicy raw fish soup), sea squirt, shrimp sashimi, fried shrimp and fried shrimp heads. No raw fish sashimi came with the set, which was a letdown, but the sweet shrimp and fresh sea squirt made the spread memorable.
