What kind of place is Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch?

Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch, a café at Dongchon Resort in Daegu, is famous for its refreshing view. Its wide glass walls let you soak up the autumn sky, and the scent of coffee is a bonus. I visited Hands Coffee, which has both coffee and desserts well covered.

The café is a tall building on a hill at the end of Dongchon Resort. It's a standalone building, and every floor shows off a Dongchon Resort view. There's plenty of parking too, so many people stop by after a meal or a walk. The scent of coffee was rich as I walked in through the entrance.
Inside Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch and its elevator

The café runs from the 2nd floor to the 4th, and there's an elevator, so it's a good choice when you're visiting with older family members. There's also a wide range of brunch dishes, so it's just right for a relaxed morning with Hands Coffee.
What did we order at Hands Coffee?

Ordering at the Dongchon Resort Branch was quick with a kiosk. The first thing that caught my eye was the variety of desserts in the showcase. Normally I'd have ordered a waffle without a second thought.
But I couldn't take my eyes off the cute bear cake. So today I ordered a Basque cheesecake and the bear cake.
Are there goods, gift sets and coffee beans too?

The Dongchon Resort Branch also has a variety of goods and gift sets, and many of them looked like good ways to share a thought with someone. I had a quick look around while waiting for my order.
Every item looked well made and tempting. Best of all, they carry a wide range of coffee beans too, so you can enjoy coffee in a richer, more varied way.

How are the glass-wall views and the seating?
The café is glass-walled on all sides, and the open view is the highlight. Whichever floor you go to and wherever you sit, the view is refreshing.
I quietly settled into a spot on one side. The chairs and tables come in a variety of styles, so it's a nice big space for a more relaxed time.

How do the bear cake and Basque cheesecake taste?
My drinks and cakes came out. The bear cake was so cute that I didn't want to eat it.
But after one bite, it vanished in no time. The sweet chocolate melted smoothly, and it went really well with the clean americano.

At Hands Coffee, cheesecake is about as popular as the waffles. The Basque cheesecake is rich and creamy, with a deep cheese flavor.
The vanilla latte wasn't too sweet either, so it paired nicely with the cakes. It's still warm in the daytime, so an iced latte was just right.

My mood melted away with a bite of cake. Leaning back in the chair, the view was amazing again. The atmosphere was great for taking in the view, and so was the music selection. The tables on each floor are spaced comfortably apart, so you get a pleasant amount of privacy.
When is the best time to visit Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch?

I enjoyed it at a leisurely pace down to the last bite of cake. The higher up you go, the better the view looking down. After lunchtime it was admittedly crowded with customers, but I'd love to come back at a quiet time for brunch. The brunch menu is really varied too.

There's also plenty of group seating. And with the heat still lingering in the daytime, I wanted some bingsu (shaved ice dessert) too. There are just so many reasons to come back. Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch is a place to enjoy all four seasons.
