Yangju galbi restaurant weekend lunch for four: Manpo Garden
Manpo Garden is a handmade Korean pork galbi (grilled marinated ribs) restaurant on Godeok-ro in Yangju, Gyeonggi. Four diners booked a weekend 1:30 pm table at Manpo Garden and ordered six servings of handmade Korean pork galbi, chadol doenjang jjigae (brisket soybean paste stew) and paid add-ons of yukjeon (beef pancake, 6,000 won) and tasting yukhoe (beef tartare, 5,000 won), and the sweet-salty marinade and the side dishes were all worth finishing. The dessert naengmyeon (cold noodles) is free and good with leftover galbi, and the private rooms make Manpo Garden a solid pick for group dinners in Yangju.
