Famous Venny's atmosphere and who goes there

Famous Venny Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is a brunch café that's nice to visit alone, and I think it would be great with a little one too haha

It's a clean, open space. The staff were really kind too! No fuss, just a room that's perfect for a relaxed brunch 〰️ There were lots of residents and groups from the neighborhood, plus couples like us and friends, so a wide range of ages came through 👏🏻

What we ordered at Famous Venny and how much it cost

This time we ordered two drinks and two brunch plates.

As soon as you walk in, they hand you a menu, so you can choose comfortably at your seat. If you need, you can scan the QR code on the menu and see photos of the dishes too 〰️ I thought the flowers on the table were fake, but they were real ones with a lovely scent 🪻

How do the latte and flat white taste at Famous Venny?

The hot latte and flat white came with a chocolate cookie. I loved the latte for its medium body and the gentle acidity that rises up! My boyfriend, who ordered the flat white, nodded away saying it was good too ... 🤍 I had the latte last time as well and enjoyed it so much ㅠ Maybe I'll try the americano next time.

How big are the brunch portions at Famous Venny?

The brunch at Famous Venny comes on big plates, and the portions are substantial. The look of it alone makes you go "wow" 〰️ ㅠ Last time I ate that whole French toast by myself and then had an acai bowl too 👼 By the way, the acai bowl is insanely good, so highly recommend it.

And here's the food brought to our table. You can't tell from the photo, but the plates themselves are big and the portions are generous! 🤍 There were so many things I wanted to try that choosing took a while ... Since it was a proper brunch, I picked bread-based dishes haha

Bacon scramble toast, ₩16,000

The bacon scramble toast at Famous Venny was a work of art: fluffy scrambled eggs, salty bacon and golden sourdough lying side by side! It's a really classic brunch. On the side there's oil and what felt like cream cheese? 🤘🏻 Squeeze on the lemon to taste too, it's good 〰️

Pile the fluffy scramble and salty bacon on top and eat. The sourdough is baked crispy, and it's tasty cut into bite-size pieces and eaten together 😶‍🌫️ The oil adds even more flavor. If it starts to feel a little heavy, squeeze the lemon juice on, swoosh.

Croissant French toast, ₩17,000

I loved the French toast at Famous Venny so much last time that I ordered it again. They use a croissant instead of sliced bread 🍞 The croissant was evenly toasted this time too 〰️ Eaten with the sweet banana and maple syrup, it's great 👏🏻 Next time I want to try a sandwich.
