Gangnam Station Western restaurant, 8-seat group table: Eulji Darak
In short
Eulji Darak Gangnam Station (을지다락 강남점) is a Western-style restaurant with a stylish interior on the 2nd floor of a building, about a 5-minute walk from Exit 11 of Gangnam Station in Seoul. The writer booked the 8-seat group table at Eulji Darak for a wedding invitation dinner (a Korean meal for handing out invitations to friends) and shared the Darak rose pasta (19,000 won), corn gnocchi (19,000 won), chopped pork neck steak (24,000 won) and katsu sando (13,000 won). Eulji Darak Gangnam Station covers location, atmosphere and group seating for a wedding invitation dinner, but it has only one 8-seat table, so booking is a must.

I've just started my wedding invitation gatherings, so I've been going around to nice restaurants near Gangnam Station! For these gatherings the location has to be good, the mood has to be pretty, and above all you need group seating for a bunch of people! Today I'm writing about Eulji Darak Gangnam Station, a Gangnam Station restaurant with a great atmosphere that ticked every one of those boxes!
Where is Eulji Darak Gangnam Station, and can you book?
Eulji Darak is near Exit 11 of Gangnam Station, and you can book group seating (you really do need to reserve ahead!). The interior is so full of charm that it's perfect for a "cheongmo" (wedding invitation gathering).

It takes about 5 minutes on foot from Gangnam Station Exit 11. It's on the 2nd floor of a building and known for its distinctive interior!
Atmosphere and the 8-person group table at Eulji Darak

The moment you walk in, you feel a clean, warm white-and-wood vibe! I love the bright lighting and natural light, which is really great for taking pretty photos while you hand out your invitations!

I especially loved this 8-person table. There's only one, so if you're coming as a group I recommend booking in advance. The restroom is inside the restaurant too, which was convenient.
What's on the menu and how much does it cost?

Eulji Darak is famous as a pasta spot near Gangnam Station, so my expectations were high from the moment I opened the menu. I ordered the most popular signature dishes. Prices aren't high either, so it's just right for a wedding invitation gathering!

Once you've picked your dishes, ring the bell on the table and the staff come over to take your order. The table comes set with a spoon and fork, and the water is self-serve!!

What we ordered
- Darak rose pasta ₩19,000
- Corn gnocchi ₩19,000
- Chopped pork neck steak ₩24,000
- Katsu sando (breaded cutlet sandwich) ₩13,000

Corn gnocchi: my top pick, eaten 5+ times
First up, the corn gnocchi, which I order every time I come to Eulji Darak! The chewy gnocchi goes perfectly with the nutty, sweet corn cream sauce! You really, truly have to try this one! I order it every visit, so I've had it at least 5 times. It's my number one pick!

Darak rose pasta: just a little spicy for spice wimps
The Darak rose pasta has a thick, spicy-sweet rose sauce, and you mix in the fresh cream on top. It's a pasta that wins on both looks and taste! It's rich and savory enough that anyone would like it, but for a spice wimp like me it's just a tiny bit spicy! This is another one of my go-to picks every time I come!

Chopped pork neck steak: a good portion to share in a group
A wedding invitation gathering feels incomplete without meat, so we added the chopped pork neck steak! It's a thick pork neck steak that's tender, not tough, and packed with juices!

If you eat the grilled vegetables that come with the steak alongside the meat, the savoriness and flavor double! The portion is generous enough to share, so when you're a big group like at a wedding invitation gathering, it's a must-order to put in the middle of the table.

Katsu sando: a side to eat with coleslaw on top
The katsu sando has a thick, crispy, juicy cutlet tucked between soft slices of white bread! One bite and you get the moist bread and the crunchy meat at the same time, so it's a great side to go with the main dishes.

If you put a little of the coleslaw that comes with it on top of the fried cutlet, which can be a bit oily, it adds a fresh tang and is really delicious!

Also, at Eulji Darak the staff only bring pickles when you ask for them, so be sure to ask!
Is Eulji Darak a good wedding invitation gathering spot near Gangnam Station?

Right in the middle of easy-to-reach Gangnam Station, it's honestly hard to find a place with this level of food, atmosphere and comfortable group seating. If you want to treat precious friends you haven't seen in a while to a tasty meal, I wholeheartedly recommend Eulji Darak at Gangnam Station. It's popular, so I'd advise booking before you go!
