On an after-work visit at 5 p.m. on a Friday, the writer ordered a Summer Latte, salt bread and a dirty choco cookie, and dipping the soft, flaky salt bread into the Summer Latte's ice cream was the highlight. Maison Akai Hyehwa is a katsu and pasta restaurant on the 2nd floor of a building on Daemyeong-gil, near Hyehwa Station in Jongno, Seoul. On a date in Hyehwa, the blogger ordered a set of Akai iron-plate cheese katsu, Akai cold soba and a drink from the kiosk, and loved the plate covered in cheese, the slushy-cold soba and the blood orange drink called Maison Akai. Jojo AK Plaza Suwon is a teppanyaki Japanese restaurant in the B1 food hall of AK Plaza at Suwon Station, Suwon. While dieting before a wedding dress tour, the writer ate alone at Jojo's counter, ordering the yakisoba and gyoza (5 pieces) set for 18,000 won, and fell for the crispy gyoza and the salty, popping mentaiko mayo sauce. Jojo's yakisoba makes an easy first solo meal, and the mentaiko mayo gyoza is a must-order.
