I want to introduce a café in Gangnam that's great for working on a laptop and just as good for reading. It's Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch, a 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon Station. I ducked in on short notice and it turned out to be a perfect spot for studying and working. From the sandwich I grabbed when I got peckish to the nutty, clean Mocha Blend Americano, I loved all of it, so here's my detailed review~

Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch is a 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon Station, open daily from 00:00 to 24:00. After staffed hours end, it runs as an unmanned store.
It's close to Sinnonhyeon Station, so it's really easy to get to by public transport~
The café runs on a 24-hour auto-brew system, so you can use it comfortably at any hour, and it has facilities tailored to people who come to work on laptops or study.
Are the seats at Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon comfortable for laptop work?
The interior is bright and light-toned, with lots of cushioned seats with backrests, which made it nice to sit and work for a long time. There are charging outlets throughout the seating, too.
Step inside and the whole place is neatly done in a bright, light tone.
They had the windows open, so the window-side bar seats were lovely for working while looking out at the weather and the view. The chairs aren't those hard, uncomfortable stools, either. Lots of the seats have comfy backrests and soft cushioning, so wherever you sit, you can work for a long time.

There's a corner inside where you can print. If you suddenly need a document while working or studying, you can print it right away, which I found really convenient and kind of amazing.
What did I order from the menu at Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon?
The café displays simple snacks and a variety of sandwiches, and I ordered an iced Americano (Mocha Blend) and a smoked salmon sandwich.
There are snacks on display for a quick bite, too.
One side has great-looking sandwiches on display, and there were so many kinds that I agonized for ages over what to eat. In the end I ordered an iced Americano (Mocha Blend) and the smoked salmon sandwich!
How is the smoked salmon sandwich at Selecto Coffee?
The smoked salmon sandwich is packed with smoked salmon, cabbage, green leaf lettuce, cherry tomatoes and a special sauce in ciabatta bread. When it came out, the freshness hit me right from the look of it, and the pretty colors caught my eye~
Between the soft, plain ciabatta are fragrant smoked salmon, crunchy cabbage, green leaf lettuce and cherry tomatoes, and a generous fill of the special sauce.
The combo of tender, thick salmon, nutty bread and fresh vegetables was so good that I couldn't help exclaiming out loud!
The salty, rich savoriness typical of smoked salmon wasn't overpowering but clean and mild, so it was filling without feeling heavy.
It was so tasty that I finished it in no time after the first bite, and it was filling~
Mocha Blend iced Americano with no acidity
The Mocha Blend beans here have almost no acidity and a heavy, nutty taste, so they suit anyone who dislikes acidic beans. I usually prefer nutty beans without acidity over acidic ones, so I went with the Mocha Blend.
Mocha Blend has a weighty body and the deep, bittersweet flavor of dark chocolate. With almost no acidity, it's a classic, deep taste, and a clean, smooth coffee that anyone can drink comfortably without it being a love-it-or-hate-it thing.
Taking a cool sip every now and then while eating the sandwich made my stomach feel totally settled.
