What is the atmosphere like at Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station?
The shop's exterior and interior

I visited Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station, famous in Daechi-dong as a great-value sushi spot. It's known as a lunch favorite, but even at dinner it was full of customers, so my hopes were high 🙌

The shop is on the 2nd floor of the building, and there's an elevator, so it's easy to get up. The inside is bigger than I expected, with plenty of room between tables. It was mealtime and quite crowded, which tells you how many people come to this sushi spot.

The menu

Sushi here is a flat ₩1,990 per plate, so you can pick whatever you like without worrying about the bill. They also sell noodles, including udon, so if sushi alone isn't enough for you, check the menu for prices and order some together 😋

The staff make the sushi you order right in front of you. I liked being able to watch them work, and the place felt neat and clean overall, which I was happy with.
Recommended at Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station: salmon sushi
Food review

The one I'd recommend is the best salmon sushi 😋 It was so good that day that I ate a whole 4 plates of it... haha. You can really taste the salmon's soft texture and rich flavor, and it goes well with the rice, so I kept reaching for more. Honestly, the quality was hard to believe for ₩1,990 a plate.

Mentaiko negitoro sushi
The mentaiko negitoro sushi (pollock roe with minced tuna and scallion) pairs the salty savoriness of the roe with the soft texture of minced tuna. It has a different flavor from ordinary fish sushi, so it's a good pick when you want something a bit different.

Wagyu steak sushi
The wagyu steak sushi lets you enjoy the rich flavor of the meat. It has a different charm from fish sushi, and the tender wagyu with the rice was filling and satisfying.

Fried shrimp and egg with beef belly sushi were just okay
The fried shrimp I ordered as a side was just okay! At Sushi Ian N I recommend sticking mainly to the sushi! Just have unlimited salmon sushi... that's my recommendation 😋 The other sushi were also unbelievably good for this price!

The egg with beef belly sushi (tamago and sliced beef) combines sweet, soft egg with rich beef belly. This one was just okay too ~~

Wow, I ate 10 plates.
