How did I end up at Pasta Go Magok Branch?
Pasta Go Magok Branch is a pasta place near Magongnaru Station, also known as a go-to near Seoul Botanic Park. I've been going to an ottchil (Korean lacquer) workshop regularly, and my husband's office is nearby, so I eat in Magok quite often these days. Today I was craving Western food rather than Korean, so I tried Pasta Go :)

Seating and how to order
Inside there are tables for two and seats for up to 4–6 people. The interior was clean, spacious and comfortable.

You order at the kiosk :) The menu is so varied that I agonized over what to eat for ages.

After all that deliberating, I ordered two solo sets.
Solo set: shrimp aglio e olio + pepperoni pizza
The first solo set comes with a morning roll, aglio e olio (shrimp), pepperoni pizza and a Pepsi Zero.

Pretty generous for one person, right? Lunch prices are really high these days, so a set like this feels like great value.

Shrimp aglio e olio is what I order at every pasta place, and Pasta Go's version had really good olive oil and garlic aroma! It was clean-tasting and never got heavy, so it was easy to eat :) And the noodle doneness? Need I say more~ Very good, very good! 👍🏻

Pizza in the set, too! See how much pepperoni is piled on? Pepperoni is best when it's salty, and it paired perfectly with the cheese, so the pizza was really good. Next time I come with my son, I'll try the gorgonzola pizza~!
Looking at the aglio e olio makes me want it again!
Solo set: hot rosé chicken risotto + fries
The second solo set comes with a morning roll, hot rosé chicken risotto, fries and a Pepsi Zero.

I'm a rosé lover, so this was my pick! When you want both noodles and rice, you just have to order pasta and risotto, right?

How spicy was the hot rosé chicken risotto?
You can choose the spice level for the hot rosé chicken risotto. I went with the default, which wasn't too spicy, so anyone could enjoy it. I loved how the smooth rosé sauce and the spicy chicken worked together, and the creamy sauce blended well with the rice. Look closely and you'll see they were really generous with the chicken 🤍

Just one smiley potato on top of regular fries and it's suddenly so cute 🥰 Honestly, this potato made me happy just looking at it :)
The risotto was right between thick and creamy! So good. At the end, I swiped up every bit of sauce with the morning roll, and I couldn't help saying, "Ah, that was so good, I'm full," haha.
Is the Pasta Go Magok Branch solo set good value?
The solo sets at Pasta Go Magok Branch were great value because you get to enjoy several dishes at once! The clean taste of shrimp aglio e olio, the rich cheese of the pepperoni pizza, the spicy rosé sauce of the hot rosé chicken risotto: each one has its own clear charm, which made this place memorable.
If you're looking for a pasta spot near Magok Station and Seoul Botanic Park, whether for a date or a solo meal, it's worth a visit 👍🏻 How about Pasta Go for lunch today?
