What kind of place is Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch?

Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch is a 24-hour, year-round BBQ restaurant at 68 Jungdong-ro 262beon-gil, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi (1st floor). This is my third visit to this pork belly spot near Sinjungdong Station, and I love that the staff grill the meat for you, so it's so easy! Let me show you right away what this Bucheon pork belly place is like.

Getting there from Sinjungdong Station, and parking

Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch is a 4-minute walk from Exit 3 of Sinjungdong Station. There's no parking at the restaurant, so please use a public parking lot!

Atmosphere: spacious, great for company dinners and groups

Step inside and it's really spacious and comfortable. It's a great spot for company dinners, group gatherings and all kinds of get-togethers~ I was so excited for the Boseong pork (nokdon) and the Jirisan black pork, which is made extra special with charcoal and rice husks, haha

Menu and what we ordered at Cham Dwaejitgan

The menu has plenty of options and drinks: Jirisan black pork, Boseong pork, special cuts, sides and more. We ordered 3 portions of Jirisan black pork five-layer belly, Jirisan kudzu cold noodles and margarine soy egg rice!

Side dishes and the self-bar

The side dishes are wrap vegetables, salad, spring onion salad, pickles, various sauces, kimchi, bean sprouts and minari (water dropwort). The kimchi, bean sprouts and minari go straight onto the grill for you! For extra side dishes, use the tidy self-bar~

Jirisan black pork five-layer belly: price and taste

The Jirisan black pork five-layer belly is ₩19,000 per 160g portion, and we ordered 3 portions. It's the belly I order every time I come to Cham Dwaejitgan! The skin-on belly looks great and the quality is great too, haha

The staff grill the meat from start to finish, and they even check the grill's temperature before putting the meat on!

Margarine soy egg rice, ₩3,900: the dish my child asked for first

The margarine soy egg rice is ₩3,900, and it's what my child asked for the moment they saw it. Perilla leaves, two runny fried eggs, seaweed flakes and sesame seeds make a great combination, and it's good value too!

Break the runny yolks, mix it all up and it's so nutty and tasty that you keep eating, haha

Jirisan kudzu cold noodles, ₩7,000

The Jirisan kudzu cold noodles (mul naengmyeon) are ₩7,000. It feels wrong to have BBQ without naengmyeon, right?! I wanted something cool to go with the belly, so I ordered the mul naengmyeon, and it looks great and the portion is generous.

Icy, slushy broth and chewy noodles, the best!

Why it's easy with a child: the staff grill all the meat

While the side dishes were coming out, the staff were already grilling the belly for us~ Going to a BBQ place with a kid is hectic, looking after the child and grilling at the same time, but since they grilled everything for us, it was so easy.

It's grilled by a skilled pro, so the taste is guaranteed too!

Belly wraps, plus grilled kimchi, bean sprouts and minari

I had the well-grilled belly right away in a wrap (ssam). The meat itself is so good that it tastes great with just salt, but it's even better in a wrap~ And the grilled kimchi, bean sprouts and minari are the best....!

Finishing with potato wraps and the event fried rice

Once the meat is done, they put potatoes and mushrooms on the grill, and a wrap made with a nicely grilled potato is a real treat >.<

After joining the Naver receipt review event and the Instagram story upload event, we also had fried rice and a cola. It's just one fried rice, but the portion is really generous and we left full >.<

Next to the cashier there are after-meal candies, dental floss, mouthwash and more, so keep that in mind too, haha

Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch has great flavor as a given, and the roomy hall makes it a perfect Bucheon pork belly spot for groups. I loved that the staff grill the tasty meat to make it even tastier, and the side dishes were all good, so I was satisfied.
