Mini Male Coffee Roaster Yeoksam Branch (미니말레 커피뢰스터 역삼점) is a specialty coffee shop in Yeoksam that blends Nordic warmth with a mid-century modern mood. I went recently and completely fell for it. Even though I'd just eaten a big meal, I proved once again that the dessert-and-coffee stomach is a separate stomach!

Where is Mini Male Yeoksam, and where can you park?

There's no parking at the shop itself, so you'll need a nearby alternative. There's the Nextbay Yongyeon Building parking lot (9 Nonhyeon-ro 95-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul), and public lots nearby include the Yeoksam Changjogil Public Parking Lot (₩400 per 5 minutes, 7-minute walk) and the Yeoksam Munhwa Park No. 2 Public Parking Lot (₩300 per 5 minutes, 10-minute walk).

It's a 3-minute walk from Yeoksam Station Exit 6 and a 9-minute walk from Eonju Station Exit 7. You'll find it in the inner alley near the AC Hotel, right across from Gangnam Finance Tower (GFC).

Mini Male sits in the office district near Yeoksam Station and Gangnam Finance Center, and the stylish mid-century modern interior caught my eye from the outside.

There's a terrace with a heating and cooling system, so it's comfortable all four seasons, and it's a perfect place to relax right in the middle of the city.

It's bright and pretty in the daytime, but at night the soft lighting makes it really romantic, so I'd recommend it as a blind-date café or an evening date spot in Yeoksam too!

On top of that, you can choose your beans and milk to taste, which has already made it a well-known dessert and coffee hotspot in Yeoksam among coffee lovers.

You order at the kiosk in front of the shop. The signature items are the Helsinki latte, British Einspanner, Americano (Dunkel beans), handmade baton financier (lamington), and handmade New York cookie (Original Levain).

There's also a wide range of other items: coffee, cold brew, tea, ade, fruit lattes, fresh fruit juice, bottled drinks, ice cream, bakery items and cakes.

I came after a hearty meal, but seeing Mini Male's signature looks, I couldn't not order! Let me go through what I tried one by one.

1. Helsinki latte (the signature drink)

Mini Male's signature Helsinki latte had no bitterness at all and went down wonderfully smooth. The ratio of rich espresso from freshly roasted beans to nutty, creamy milk was perfect, and from the first sip I understood why it's said to have sold over 100,000 cups.

2. British Einspanner, made as a latte with Dunkel beans

Mini Male's British Einspanner (coffee topped with whipped cream) comes as black, latte or mocha. I picked 'latte' and chose the 'nutty beans (Dunkel)'! Under the thick, sweet British fresh cream comes a nutty latte, and it was so good I couldn't help exclaiming. If you like Einspanner, definitely try it!

I already love financiers and cookies, and Mini Male's bakery quality was good enough to be called a cookie and dessert hotspot in Yeoksam.

I'd definitely eaten a full meal, yet I devoured everything as if I hadn't eaten at all! 😋

This coconut baton financier is baked to Mini Male's own special recipe! The nutty coconut flavor with a soft, moist texture made it light and just right to enjoy.

The classic plain financier had the best buttery aroma filling my mouth from the first bite. Moist with a gentle sweetness, it's a taste anyone will like, with no hit-or-miss.

Handmade New York cookie: Dark S'mores

A dense, gooey New York levain-style cookie where chewy marshmallow and rich dark chocolate blend perfectly! Sweet and bittersweet, it paired wonderfully with specialty coffee.
