I went to Wabom, a great shabu-shabu spot in Ulsan. You can park right across the street. I parked on the 1st floor of the building and headed up~

The place is huge. I think it's perfect for groups, too. We came around two on a weekend and it was busy. And Wabom is a view spot! With the big windows and being on the 10th floor, the view is so pretty. Can a shabu-shabu restaurant really have a view this nice~~

The mild broth is good for eating with kids! I like spicy food, so I went half and half, and the spicy broth was rich, hot and tasty.

Wabom Ulsan Mugeo Branch has far more kinds of food than other places: vegetables, rice paper roll ingredients, salad, sushi, meat, seafood, fried food, pasta and drinks. The vegetable plates are right at the table! I brought back a big pile of veggies first.

There's a good variety of vegetables and they were super fresh. Mushrooms, napa cabbage and more. Eating lots of veggies is healthy too, so two birds with one stone ❤

There are several kinds of vegetables for rice paper rolls too! You know rice paper rolls are a must with shabu-shabu~ Wrapping them is a hassle, but shabu-shabu tastes better wrapped 👍

There's a huge range of sushi too. It's varied enough to almost count as a sushi restaurant. I love salmon, so I ate a lot of salmon sushi haha

There's a separate meat fridge too. Just grab what suits your taste. I tried everything, then went back for more of what I liked best!! You know meat is a must for shabu-shabu~~

Seafood, raw fish and marinated crab

There's lots of seafood, and the raw fish was fresh and delicious. Ice is laid underneath to keep it fresh! Scallops, blue crab, shrimp and more. There was so much seafood I wondered if this was really a shabu-shabu place~ I love both spicy marinated crab (yangnyeom gejang) and soy-marinated crab (ganjang gejang), and having both kinds was already amazing 👍

Fried food and pasta

There's fried food too. So many kinds that if you tried them all one by one, you couldn't eat any shabu-shabu,,

Lots of pasta, and this one in particular was so good. I'm a noodle person, so I may be biased, but this is a pasta hotspot ❤

Drinks, the sauce bar and one drawback

Cold drinks in lots of varieties~ So many choices!! This much food, dessert and drinks at this price,, does the owner even make a profit~!?

There's a sauce bar for dipping, too! I like chili sauce, so I took chili sauce and sukiyaki sauce. One drawback: I wish they had mala sauce too ㅜㅜ I like spicy food, so I added a few chili peppers as well!

Warm water for rice paper rolls at the push of a button

I grabbed rice paper~ At other places you have to judge the amount of warm water yourself, but at Wabom Ulsan Mugeo Branch you just press a button and the right amount fills the bowl! Nice touch!

Healthy food that's good for you~ This one won't make you gain weight^^ Even if wrapping is a pain, definitely try the rice paper rolls!

While the broth boiled, I brought back food. I'm the type to set out a big spread and go back for more if needed, so I filled about 3 plates and stuffed myself^^ This place is a bossam hotspot. Please, please eat the bossam!!!!!! It was good enough to call it a bossam restaurant. No gamey smell, and my boyfriend went and got another bowl haha

Finishing shabu-shabu with kalguksu noodles and porridge

Half-and-half broth! I had spicy, my boyfriend had mild~~ We added vegetables to our taste and boiled them. I love wood ear mushrooms,, haha Piling in napa cabbage and mushrooms makes it even better.

Even when you're full, kalguksu (knife-cut noodles) is a must, you know~ I brought kimchi and ate it with the noodles.

After eating, to make shabu porridge I brought rice, seaweed flakes, sesame oil and an egg and stir-fried them. Leave just a little broth and make porridge! Even when I'm full, whenever I come to a shabu-shabu place I always have kalguksu and porridge. If I skip them, I regret it at home,, haha

Wabom Ulsan Mugeo Branch dessert: chocolate fondue and puffed-rice ice cream

The dessert corner at Wabom Ulsan Mugeo Branch has chocolate fondue, ice cream, cake, fruit and puffed-rice crackers. The big thing at this Ulsan shabu-shabu spot is the chocolate fondue!! Fondue at a shabu-shabu place haha I dipped marshmallows right in the chocolate. A taste kids would love!!

There were lots of ice cream flavors, plus cakes and fruit. The fruit was sweet and there were several cakes, so I took one of each and tried them all haha

There were puffed-rice crackers (ppeongtwigi), so I made "ppeongseukrim" (puffed-rice ice cream). Take two crackers, put ice cream inside, and finish with that~~ 👍 Even when you're full, there's a separate stomach for dessert, right? I left full and happy for a great price. If you live in Ulsan, I'll probably come back to Wabom for shabu-shabu!
