Why I visited a Hwamyeong-dong esthetic salon for seasonal sensitive skin

Maybe it’s the changing seasons, but my skin has been completely acting up lately ㅜ.ㅜ So this time, I went to Bemontes Esthetic, a Hwamyeong-dong skincare salon that’s known for great treatments! It’s a Hwamyeong-dong esthetic salon that handles everything from troubled skin and wedding care to acne care.

Different therapists handle each step, which made it feel very systematic. I even saw a middle-school-aged customer getting a treatment beside me, and thought, wow, this really must be a skincare salon that people in the neighborhood recommend by word of mouth.

Near Hwamyeong Station: location and salon atmosphere

It’s near Exit 1 of Hwamyeong Station, so it was easy to find, and there’s parking as well, making it easy for those arriving by car to get a treatment. The skincare salon is on the sixth floor of a building called Seongmun Tower.

The salon was way~ bigger than I expected, haha. When I went, there were two therapists, with customers before and after me too, lol. At that point... it really is a skincare salon with a neighborhood reputation, right?~!

A diagnosis that put my skin condition before the treatment I wanted

The director’s awards were impressive too, lol. And while she explained things, you could really feel her professional knowledge. Apparently, I normally have good skin, but it had become very weakened by irritation from washing my face and things like that ㅜ.ㅜ

So even cleansing made my skin turn red from sensitivity. To help it recover, she decided to give me plenty of hydration and firming care.

Personally, I wanted dark-spot and pore care, but she said I should do that after fully restoring my skin barrier, so that was a stop, lol. In a way, she could have made more money by doing what the customer asked for, but she looked at my skin condition and only did what seemed possible. That actually made me trust her more.

My skin is too sensitive for pore care right now ㅜ.ㅜ So we went with hydration first!!

The hydration and firming treatment process

Now, let me show you the treatment process!! First, I changed clothes and they started with cleansing. It’s a little embarrassing to be bare-faced, but the close-up photo is kind of funny, lol.

Then they loosened up all the muscles, starting with my décolleté and including my temporalis muscles. Personally, I found the muscle release so refreshing and nice. My skin has been sensitive lately, so my makeup kept separating and settling into lines, and I just wasn’t happy with it... but after getting treated at Bemontes Esthetic, it got so much better!!

During the treatment, I focused on the care itself, so I couldn’t take photos of every single step, but these are the products used on me :) Since I blog, I think I’ve visited quite a lot of skincare salons.

But Bemontes Esthetic has one particularly distinctive strength: rather than simply giving customers the treatment they want, the director diagnoses them and provides care that suits them exactly!! That was such a real advantage.

Changes I felt in my skin after the treatment

And so, my skin was coming together, lol. When the treatment first started, there was a lot of redness, but toward the end it felt like an inner glow was building up? Haha.

And at the end, they packed in real, deep hydration in two stages. My base makeup had kept separating, and I had so many worries about it..? But after my treatment at Bemontes Esthetic, it amazingly started getting better and better!!

Of course, I wouldn’t say I was completely recovered after just one session, but it got so much better!! And the director’s hands were so skilled that I’m thinking of trying facial contouring care next time.. haha.

Whenever I asked something, she explained it one by one in even more detail, and the treatment was so good. It’s a bit of a trip from my home to the salon, but it was still a place I want to visit again~!! They also said they offer pigment laser treatment here... next time, I’ll go get rid of my dark spots(?) And please do my pores then too!!
