Whenever we crave sushi in Songdo, my boyfriend and I head straight to our favorite Songdo sushi spot, Sushi Doku The Songdo (스시도쿠 더송도) 💕 The best ingredients, handled with skilled hands, so you get sushi at its freshest. I really recommend this Incheon Songdo favorite as a date course.
Where is Sushi Doku The Songdo, and where do you park?
Sushi Doku The Songdo is on the 2nd floor of Onesta Mall, and if you park at Onesta Mall you get 2 hours of free parking. It's close to both Songhyeon-a (the Hyundai Outlet Songdo) and Triple Street at Exit 2 of Tekeunopakeu Station, so it's perfect when you get hungry while shopping or on a date 🆗🆗

You can book through Catchtable at the shop entrance, and for parties of 6 or more you can book through Naver, which I recommend! This is a Songdo place people line up for.
We came at 5pm, right when break time ends, and seeing the line I thought, yep, Sushi Doku is still a Songdo favorite. The wait is no lie, it's the truth.
What is the atmosphere like inside Sushi Doku The Songdo?
Inside, the lighting is soft and each seat is separated by cloth partitions, so it feels private. It works for a Songdo date, a family meal, lunch, eating solo or with friends, whoever you bring 🪽

At Sushi Doku The Songdo, you pour the soy sauce from the table into a dish and swipe it onto the sushi with a special brush. It's definitely easier than dipping the sushi, and you taste the ingredients better too. Happiness in every bite ❣️
How does the truffle chawanmushi taste?
This is the truffle chawanmushi that comes with the set. It was a shocking kind of delicious, melting softly in my mouth the second I took a bite. I gave my boyfriend a thumbs-up of satisfaction.
You get a subtle truffle aroma, and it's smooth like pudding, with shrimp and ginkgo nuts adding texture. A total treat. The class of an Incheon Songdo favorite, wow ✨
Refillable half udon
The half udon in the set can be refilled too, star mark! Looking again, apart from the sushi the set is really generous. The Nemo fish cake is so cute 💛 And the hot broth is rich and deep.
Salad and tempura
The salad and tempura are included in the set too. The tempura is karaage (Japanese fried chicken) and shrimp tempura, and the combination with the sauce was excellent.
