Sokcho makguksu restaurant for a group lunch with pork platter: Topgol
Sokcho Topgol Makguksu Main Branch is a self-milled makguksu (buckwheat cold noodle) restaurant near Sokcho Beach. Four of us ordered a large suyuk (boiled pork) platter — about 27 thin slices — plus perilla oil buckwheat makguksu and pollack sashimi makguksu, wrapping the pork in noodles and switching things up midway with dongchimi (radish water kimchi) broth. If you want a light, satisfying Sokcho lunch that isn't seafood, this makguksu-and-pork combo is the answer.
