Sunday date clam hot pot with kalguksu sari, Yeouido: Gaetbeol-ui
Gaetbeol-ui Jogae Yeouido Main Branch is a giant clam hot pot restaurant a 3–5 minute walk from National Assembly Station in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. On a Sunday lunch date the writer ordered the giant clam hot pot for two in the 'clear' broth, and the portion was big enough to ask the staff twice whether it really was for two; for the finishing noodles, kalguksu (knife-cut noodles) suited the clear broth better than ramyeon. With a wide hall and private room seating, Gaetbeol-ui Jogae works for a couple's lunch and for group dinners alike.
