Pocheon pasta restaurant: abalone pesto pasta with lemon, Eoneu Dal

Eoneu Dal (어느달) is a pasta restaurant near a village hall in a rural village on Jeongmundong-gil in Pocheon, Gyeonggi. The writer and a friend booked a weekday 1 PM table on Catch Table and ordered the abalone pasta of the month (22,000 won), a shrimp salad and a mushroom pilaf; a squeeze of lemon halfway through brought out the abalone pasta's flavor. Eoneu Dal is busy enough that reservations are a must even on weekdays, but it is a Pocheon pasta spot worth coming back to with family.

Choi Dining Yangju Okjeong is a Japanese restaurant on the 2nd floor of a central shopping building in Okjeong, Yangju, Gyeonggi. On a weekday lunch with a friend, the writer ordered salmon futomaki 5pcs (13,900 won) and, for the first time, pork jowl myeongi oil pasta (14,000 won). The writer also used the Dream Tower 2 parking support when the lot was full and the 10% discount at Coffee Cook on the 1st floor. The pork jowl myeongi (wild garlic leaf) oil pasta at Choi Dining became a dish the writer wants to order again.
