The space is compact but has everything you need. There are lots of themes, so there were quite a few escape rooms, and there was also a place to wait.
They also had chargers and indoor slippers ready, and there's a restroom inside.

Before you start, you sit in the waiting seats and a staff member kindly goes over the rules.
Once you've heard the rules, you put all your belongings, phone included, in a locker, and the escape begins!
Why a beginner who hates horror chose the Pyramid theme
This was only my 2nd time at an escape room café, and I'm not confident with hard puzzles, so I ruled out the difficult themes.
On my 1st visit I picked a horror theme and failed without even being able to open my eyes, so I ruled out horror too 😱 So I picked Pyramid! The nice thing about Cube Escape is that it has everything from easy themes beginners like me can enjoy to hard rooms for enthusiasts!
Pyramid theme: escaping by a thread with 2 hints
As a beginner, I found the Pyramid theme at Cube Escape Hongdae Branch really exciting, and I escaped by the skin of my teeth 😅 I used 2 hints, and we just took the proof photo ourselves 📸
The hints are delivered so clearly they almost give you the answer, so beginners don't need to worry! If you hate horror and you're a beginner like me, I really recommend Pyramid. Because it was fun, okay? 😆 I'll keep visiting and conquer the hard rooms for enthusiasts 💪🏻
