Haeundae Station café with luggage: pistachio swirl, Low & Sweet
In short
Low & Sweet Roastery (로우앤스윗 로스터리) is a roastery bakery café that roasts its own beans, right at the entrance to Haeridan-gil in front of Haeundae Station in Busan. On the last day of a Busan trip, the writer and a friend shared two iced americanos (one Choty beans, one decaf), a pistachio swirl, an egg tart and two financiers; the staff kindly recommended freshly baked pastries, and a calm dog customer was relaxing in the café. Low & Sweet Roastery is a good Haeridan-gil café for a Haeundae date or a short break with luggage.

Where is Low & Sweet Roastery, the Haeridan-gil café by Haeundae Station?
Low & Sweet Roastery (로우앤스윗 로스터리) is a ground-floor café you spot as soon as you head from Haeundae Station toward Haeridan-gil. It was the last day of our Busan trip and the weather was lovely, so we planned a Haeundae day. Before heading home we stopped at Haeridan-gil first, and started with good bread and cold coffee at this café, a nice spot for a Haeundae date!

The weather was sooo good that even walking with a parasol had us sweating buckets, so of course we had to cool off in a café with bread and coffee first. This is Low & Sweet Roastery, right as you go from Haeundae Station toward Haeridan-gil!

The 2nd floor of the building is a different restaurant, and Low & Sweet Roastery is on the 1st floor! Later, while strolling Haeridan-gil, I found out there's a Low & Sweet Bakery on the street too, haha.
What are the seating and atmosphere like at Low & Sweet Roastery?
Low & Sweet Roastery has indoor and outdoor seats. We retreated indoors because of the heat! But the breeze was still pleasantly cool, so some people were sitting outside.

It's a cute, charming Haeundae café, so it's easy to see couples on a Haeundae date coming here, and maybe because it was a weekday, lots of people were enjoying a solo café time too!

Which drinks did we order at Low & Sweet Roastery?
We ordered two iced americanos at Low & Sweet Roastery: one with Choty beans and one decaf.

As you may have guessed from "Roastery" in the name, they seem to roast and blend their own beans! We could see the machine too >< It looks like the beans are roasted at Low & Sweet Roastery and the baking is done at Low & Sweet Bakery.

How many kinds of bread and pastry does Low & Sweet Roastery have?
Low & Sweet Roastery had a really wide bakery lineup: pastries, financiers (small almond butter cakes), cookies, canelés and egg tarts. The staff member was so kind. We got so wide-eyed we couldn't pick, so they recommended the pastries that had just come out freshly baked that morning.

Everything looks so good, how do you even decide? The financiers look tasty too, right?

The cookies are big and come in lots of kinds too. There were also canelés, tigres, madeleines and egg tarts.

Salt bread, croissants and pain au chocolat! They all look delicious, but the croissant and pain au chocolat are the signatures!

The pistachio swirl, corn tart and blueberry danish all looked so good that we agonized over the choice for a long time!

A calm dog customer at Low & Sweet Roastery
Low & Sweet Roastery was a Haeundae café that's quiet and not too small, great for a comfy break! The day we visited, two dogs were quietly hanging out inside. All through this Busan trip I'd been thinking Busan is such a pet-friendly place, but I only noticed them when my friend went, "Omg, there's a dog over there!!"
The two pups were so well-behaved, silent, calm and relaxed, spending their time so leisurely ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ aww. We can't have dogs ourselves but we're total dog lovers, so we sat side by side at a spot where we could see them, eating bread and watching the dogs to our hearts' content, hehe.

Low & Sweet Roastery discounts and coffee beans for sale
Low & Sweet Roastery offers a 30% discount to firefighters, soldiers, police officers and sanitation workers. The staff were so kind, and we had a lovely time.

Low & Sweet Roastery also sells coffee beans, so it seems like a good place to buy beans if you brew coffee at home!
How much are the pastries at Low & Sweet Roastery?
The four breads we picked at Low & Sweet Roastery were the pistachio swirl at 5.5, the egg tart at 3.8, the chocolate financier at 3.4 and the pecan caramel financier at 3.4. Coffee and bread time >< We had checked out and headed to Haeundae with our luggage, so we were both super hungry and thirsty, haha, which is why we picked a whole four breads!

- Pistachio swirl 5.5
- Egg tart 3.8
- Chocolate financier 3.4
- Pecan caramel financier 3.4
The prices are decent, right?

We cut the bread in half and wolfed it down, finished in under 10 minutes, hahaha.

Is Low & Sweet Roastery a good Haeundae date café?
At Low & Sweet Roastery we took our time over dessert and coffee, planned where to go next, and got our dog fix watching the Ganadi-like pups! Afterwards we strolled Haeridan-gil and moved on toward Haeundae Beach. Low & Sweet Roastery is a Haeridan-gil café that's great for a Haeundae date!
