What is Dodanga Guwol Main Branch in Incheon?
Dodanga Guwol Main Branch (도단가 구월본점) is a wagyu restaurant in Guwol-dong, near Yesulhoegwan Station (예술회관역), and I went for a beef outing with my younger sibling. It was so good that I had to write about it! If you're hunting for a beef place near Yesulhoegwan Station, I really hope you'll give it a try.

I'm a total meat lover and often seek out beef restaurants in Guwol-dong, and with Dodanga I could see right away why it's been loved for so long. From the quality of the meat to the staff's service, the meals and the dessert, there was nothing I didn't like, so I'm happy to recommend it.

Are Daedoga and Dodanga the same restaurant?

Dodanga Guwol Main Branch has been running since 2015 and is known for purebred wagyu and premium aged beef! It was originally called Daedoga (대도가), and in May 2026 it was renamed Dodanga and refreshed. Only the name changed; the taste and the care are the same, so keep that in mind!
Atmosphere and group room at Dodanga Guwol

The first thing I noticed walking in was the clean, homey atmosphere! The interior feels warm, like a place that has held its spot for a long time, the restaurant is neat and clean, and the tables are spaced comfortably, so it was easy to relax and eat.
There's also a spacious group room, so it looks good for company dinners, get-togethers with friends, family gatherings and year-end parties!
How was the staff service at Dodanga?

The food was great the whole way through, and the staff were so kind that it made the meal even better. They greeted us with smiles and looked after the little details so nothing was inconvenient, which I really loved. Honestly, the friendliness of every staff member made it perfect!
What should two people order at Dodanga?

The menu at Dodanga Guwol Main Branch covers everything from grilled wagyu to cold noodles and fried rice. The two of us ordered the wagyu daedobanpan platter (와규대도반판), mulnaengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles in broth) and wagyu kkakdugi fried rice (radish kimchi fried rice), and it was just right for two: happily full!
Which cuts come in the Wagyu Daedo Banpan platter?

The platter came with three cuts: salchisal (chuck flap), gukhwasal and raw sirloin. The meat came out first and it looked special from the start. The bright red meat looked really fresh and the marbling was top-notch! Seeing it, I thought this can't possibly be bad, and I got so excited.

The staff grilled it for us, and when I followed the grilling guide on the table, the quality of the grilled beef really stood out.
How to grill wagyu at Dodanga

Dodanga's method is to heat the grill plate well with beef tallow, lay the meat on, and flip it when the juices rise! The explanation is clear, so even first-timers can enjoy it without trouble.

One bite and I understood why Dodanga has held its spot for over 10 years and been loved for so long. The moment the beef hit my mouth it was rich in juices and so tender that it melted.

The vegetables served with the wagyu were generous too. Mushrooms, bean sprouts, onion, cherry tomatoes and more come as standard, and there's really a lot. Meat alone can get heavy, but eating it with vegetables balanced things out and felt healthier, which I liked even more.
Is Dodanga's mulnaengmyeon better than typical BBQ-restaurant cold noodles?

The mulnaengmyeon at Dodanga Guwol Main Branch has a cold, clean broth that wiped my mouth fresh after the grilled wagyu. I ordered it after eating a fair bit of grilled meat, and wow, it was so refreshing and delicious. Cold noodles are a must with beef, right? I don't usually expect much from a BBQ restaurant's naengmyeon, but the quality here was really good.
What does Dodanga's wagyu kkakbokbap fried rice taste like?

Wagyu kkakdugi fried rice is radish kimchi fried rice with wagyu in it, and for me it was the most unique dish at Dodanga. With a moderate savoriness and nutty richness, it was the best way to finish the meal. There's quite a lot of wagyu in it, and the kkakdugi is nicely spicy, so it wrapped up the meal perfectly.
What is the free dessert at Dodanga Guwol Main Branch?

Dodanga Guwol Main Branch gives a free dessert after the meal. You choose between grape juice and blueberry ice cream. I can't believe they take care of dessert so nicely too; the service was so good that I want to bring my parents next time.

If you're looking for a beef restaurant or BBQ place around Guwol-dong or Yesulhoegwan Station, this is a spot you'll keep going back to once you try it! I recommend Dodanga Guwol Main Branch!
