Where did I buy camping meat in Cheongpyeong, Gapyeong?

On the way to camp in Cheongpyeong, Gapyeong, I stopped by Ari Chuksan (아리축산) to buy meat for a barbecue. The shop is on the first floor at 23 Gangbyeon-ro, Cheongpyeong-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The original post listed its hours as daily from 9:00 AM to 8:50 PM, and parking was available.

Can I buy camping supplies besides meat?

At first, I thought it sold only meat, but as I looked around, I found ingredients and supplies for camping too.

Along with ingredients such as vegetables and eggs, it also sold charcoal and grills for barbecues. It can be a hassle to shop separately for meat, vegetables, and charcoal, so being able to get them together here seemed useful.

Which meats did I choose, and how much did they cost?

This time, I chose only three kinds of meat to eat at the campsite. Their weights and prices at the time of purchase were as follows, and I received pork skin as a complimentary extra.

• 1 cm samgyeopsal (pork belly): 370 g, ₩10,690
• Choice-grade tong galbisal (boneless rib meat): 282 g, ₩10,990

The 1 cm samgyeopsal was thick enough that it seemed well suited to grilling at the campsite. I also chose bakpo galbi, then added choice-grade tong galbisal so we could alternate between pork and beef.

How was the meat grilled over charcoal at the campsite?

After arriving at the campsite and unpacking, I got the charcoal ready and grilled the pork belly first. The thick pieces gradually turned golden brown. Once we had eaten some of the pork belly, I put the tong galbisal on the grill.

I did not overcook the tong galbisal, and it was moist and tender without any unpleasant smell. Alternating between pork and beef felt more substantial than eating just one kind of meat.

What complimentary items were offered when buying meat?

I could also pick up salt and sauce when buying the meat. At the time the original post was written, there was also information that visitors who purchased through Naver Reservation would receive lettuce, shredded green onion, salt, and sauce, while orders of ₩70,000 or more had free shipping. This time I bought only meat, but for my next camping trip, I plan to choose vegetables or any supplies I need as well. What stayed with me was being able to buy meat and camping supplies in one place.
