Lake Paldang drive stop for hanjeongsik in Gwangju, Gyeonggi: Bomseol

Bomseol is a hanjeongsik (Korean set-meal) restaurant serving hot-pot rice in Chowol-eup, Gwangju, Gyeonggi, on Hyeonsan-ro 385beon-gil. Stopping there on the drive to Lake Paldang, we ordered the master craftsman's barley gulbi (dried yellow corvina, 27,000 won) and grilled mackerel (19,000 won), and found a large private outdoor lot, a waiting lounge with coffee, and a self-serve banchan (side dish) bar. Bomseol is a clean, well-judged place for one proper Korean meal.
