Dongtan jjamppong restaurant, Sunday dinner: extra-large at Bultina

Bultina Kkomak Jjamppong Dongtan Namgwangjang Branch is a Chinese restaurant in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi specialising in cockle jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup), right beside the public parking lot in front of Dongtan Namgwangjang. A couple with a low spice tolerance came for Sunday dinner and ordered an extra-large level 1 cockle jjamppong at 11,000 won and a small tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) at 17,000 won, plus free fried dumplings from the review event. The broth at Bultina is deep and bracing, and digging the cockles out is fun enough to make it a hangover-cure spot worth remembering.
