Giheung kalguksu spot with flying fish roe wrap: Yubok Kalguksu
Yubok Kalguksu Yongin Korean Folk Village Branch is a pufferfish-broth kalguksu (knife-cut noodle) restaurant on Minsokchon-ro in Giheung-gu, Yongin, directly across from the Korean Folk Village. The kalguksu jjukkumi (baby octopus) set is 15,000 won, and adding jjukkumi barley rice for 4,000 won per person plus a 2,000 won flying fish roe wrap made the spicy octopus even better, while the sea squirt and clams kept coming until there was too much to finish. Yubok Kalguksu also sells its pufferfish broth to go at 5,000 won a pack, and one taste explains why.
