Fried tofu poke

Where is Olla Poke Seocho Gyodae Branch, and what is it like?
Olla Poke Seocho Gyodae Branch (올라포케 서초교대점) is a poke and salad shop between Seocho Station and Gyodae Station. It's very easy to get to, so lots of office workers stop by. After a big lunch I wanted a light dinner, so I visited this solo-friendly salad spot near Gyodae Station.

Poke often feels small in portion, but Olla Poke is tasty, generous, and lets you pick your own ingredients. That made me even more curious about what its menu would taste like.

Is Olla Poke near Gyodae Station comfortable for eating alone?
The shop is spacious and clean, so it's a nice place to eat by yourself. I came for takeout this time, but you can eat in too. I thought it would be great for a solo lunch break.

For people eating solo, the tables have phone stands. Without a stand it's hard to watch videos while you eat, but here you can comfortably watch while having your meal.

Kiosk ordering and open kitchen
You order and pay at the kiosk inside the shop. It's not hard to use, so anyone can order easily.

One feature of Olla Poke is its open kitchen. I could watch my order being prepared, and the kitchen looked very clean.

On one side of the shop there's a self-serve station with ice and cold water, which is handy.
How does Olla Poke package takeout?

Olla Poke packs food nicely and makes it easy to carry. The packaging was tidy, so I got it to my destination in a good mood.

How were the portion and taste of the fried tofu poke?
I ordered the fried tofu poke and the mini fried tofu salad. I wanted some mild tofu, and this lineup suited me perfectly.

When I opened the fried tofu poke, even a quick glance showed it was generously filled.
Besides the main fried tofu, it was packed with a variety of fresh ingredients like chickpeas, salad greens, and multigrain rice.

Black sesame sauce packed separately
Olla Poke packs the sauce separately, so you can adjust the amount to your taste. I chose black sesame, which was very nutty and delicious, and I was happy with it.

I ate the tofu first, and being fried made it taste even better. If you usually like tofu, you'll be fully satisfied. The portion is generous enough to fill you up.

Mix everything well and you can taste how the ingredients work together. It's hard to eat this many vegetables at once at home, so I liked that it's so easy and tasty.

They also put in a cutlery set, so you can eat comfortably outdoors or at the office.

How was the side, the mini fried tofu salad?
The mini fried tofu salad I ordered as a side was also piled with tasty tofu. It's a topping that looks pretty and tastes good.

The crunchy vegetables and the soft, nutty topping went so well together that I kept eating. The pairing was so good that I thought I should try making it at home.

Would I recommend Olla Poke's fried tofu for a light dinner?
Olla Poke's fried tofu poke and mini salad are a great choice when you want to eat light but not go hungry. Even takeout is packed as prettily as if you were eating in, so you can enjoy the meal happily anywhere.
