Seolleung date restaurant with no weekend wait: Gyuen Dang gyukatsu
Gyuen Dang Seolleung Branch is a gyukatsu (breaded beef cutlet) and hambagu omurice Japanese restaurant on the second floor of a red brick building, a 3-minute walk from Seolleung Station Exit 1 in Gangnam, Seoul. On a Saturday evening there was no wait at all, and the tenderloin gyukatsu at 24,000 won and hambagu omurice at 17,000 won arrived with a mini brazier for about 20 seconds of grilling per slice, best with the soy-based sauce. With 50 to 60 seats across two halls and baby chairs on hand, Gyuen Dang Seolleung Branch suits a date and a family meal alike.
