Beomgye lunch sashimi course with bouillabaisse: Namhae Mulgogi
Namhae Mulgogi Anyang is a kelp-aged sashimi restaurant on the 4th floor of Jungang Plaza, in front of the fountain on Beomgye Rodeo Street and a 3-minute walk from Beomgye Station. On a Wednesday at 11:40am the writer ordered the kelp-aged sashimi set for two, which ran through mulhoe (cold raw fish soup), assorted aged sashimi, futomaki and sushi, fried dishes, bouillabaisse, grilled Spanish mackerel, and beef shabu-shabu with udon noodles added at the end. A generous spread that works well for a lunch gathering or a casual meal with guests.
