Pocheon brunch spot with aged kimchi pasta and baguette: Oseuseu
Oseuseu is a husband-and-wife-run Western restaurant in Sinneup-dong, Pocheon, that builds Korean ingredients like aged kimchi into Italian-style pasta. Over a slow brunch with a friend, the writer ordered the meat crumble & aged kimchi pasta (₩18,000), woo samgyeop amatriciana with thin-sliced beef brisket (₩17,000), a 4-piece baguette (₩2,000) and a zero-sugar cola (₩3,000). Oseuseu leans on ingredient pairing and sauce depth rather than loud, salty flavors, which makes it a good place for a quiet, unhurried meal.
