The weather's been so hot lately, and there are only so many places you can take a baby who isn't even 100 days old yet. I went to Songdo Hyundai Outlet, which is great for outings with a baby in Songdo. Every time I go, I never forget to stop by my go-to Songdo café — here's the review.

I've also been to the Yeokgok flagship branch of Wunder Coffee Bar, and this is a repeat visit to the Songdo location. Every time I come, I'm reminded that the coffee and ice cream quality here is great.

There are new items like the ube spänner too, and quite a variety of cream coffee options! I tried the hojicha gato, and the combination of nutty hojicha ice cream with the slightly bitter coffee was really good.

With dad and my husband both along, we ordered a nice variety. It's great going with more people since you get to try a bunch of different things.
Iced americano, 5,000 won
True to Wunder Coffee Bar's reputation as a coffee spot, the americano balances a bit of acidity with a nutty flavor. I'd had Chinese food for lunch and felt a bit greasy, so the clean finish of the americano really hit the spot.
Iced vanilla latte, 6,000 won
I was craving something sweet so I ordered this, and wow, why is this vanilla latte so good?? It's really rich with a generous vanilla flavor — honestly the best vanilla latte I've ever had! Dad enjoyed it a lot too, which made me proud.
Hojicha ice cream, 6,500 won
Hojicha is a Japanese-style tea made by roasting green tea at high temperature. I personally love hojicha, and since it's not something you can easily find out and about, I always try it whenever it's on a menu.
Similar to green tea but with an excellent grainy, nutty depth. It's smooth and milky and genuinely delicious. It has less of green tea's typical astringency and bitterness, with a clean finish. A really refined flavor.
Kaimak with honey and white ciabatta, 9,500 won
Last time I visited, kaimak was sold out and I couldn't try it, but this time it was in stock, luckily! I ordered it right away.
How to eat kaimak (Turkish clotted cream) at its best
The best way to enjoy kaimak is to scoop up a generous amount of kaimak and honey with the knife and place it on top of the bread! Don't press it down and spread it — just place it on top so you get the full texture of the kaimak too.
The ciabatta is super soft, warmed up once so it's toasty and fluffy — the texture is fantastic. Kaimak, made by solidifying the fat in milk into a cream-like texture, is smooth and rich like a nutty cream.
Add the sweet honey on top of that and it's heavenly.
One-line verdict on Wunder Coffee Bar Songdo
Songdo café Wunder Coffee Bar's coffee is great, but the desserts are the real star! Being indoors also made it a really comfortable place to visit with a baby.
