The tables are far enough apart that you can talk without hearing the next table, and there's group seating too, so my first thought was that it would work not just for couples' dates but also for family meals with kids or office group dinners. Haha!

Everything made in-house: Taqueros' 100% handmade approach

At Taqueros Magok Main Branch, everything from the tortilla dough to the meat seasoning, salsa and guacamole is reportedly made in-house, 100% from scratch, with no ready-made products. You can catch a glimpse of the kitchen next to the counter, and it looked very clean, so I sat down with peace of mind. Above all, the owner is stubborn about it: the tortilla dough for the tacos, the meat seasoning, the salsa and the guacamole are all made completely by hand with no ready-made products, they say! Haha! Since the food aims for clean, healthy flavors that let the ingredients speak, I didn't feel bloated after eating at all. A truly top-notch Magok taco spot.

The fresh handmade salsa the owner makes soaks in strand by strand rather than sitting on top, and cuts the greasiness cleanly.

The chicken taco I tried next had chicken with absolutely zero dryness, so tender and soft, and with the sauce blend it kept going down without ever getting tiresome. Haha!

BBQ pork ribs that slide right off the bone

The BBQ ribs in the Taqueros couple set come as big racks grilled golden brown, and the meat was so tender it slid off the bone the moment the knife touched it. They anchor the set alongside the tacos, and the look alone was amazing! Haha! I cut through with a knife and the meat was so tender it slid softly off the bone. Haha!

I picked up a piece, and the subtle sweet-and-salty charm of the rich BBQ sauce had soaked deep into the meat, so the texture was absolutely the best. The meat was thick and satisfying to chew, and the flavor isn't harsh but neatly balanced, so it's the right kind of meat dish even for grandparents or small children. Haha!

Taqueros is a Magok taco spot where you can enjoy hearty 100% handmade Mexican food, made fresh daily by the owner, at a reasonable price! Haha! Everything arrives fully cooked and neatly served, with no worry about smoke or splattering oil, so for a fluttery date or a weekend family meal at a Magok family restaurant, I don't think there's a clearer answer. Haha! With no weekend break time, I could stay without any time stress, feeling well looked after.

From now on, whenever I'm craving unusual tacos, with thin chewy tortillas, tender meat and plenty of fresh salsa, I'll run straight to the building on Magok Jungangno without a second thought and stamp my regular card at Taqueros!
