Standard Square is a hand drip coffee and dessert café on Keonbensia-daero in Songdo, Yeonsu, Incheon, that roasts its own beans at its coffee lab in Namdong Industrial Complex. On a rainy morning before work, the writer tried the Tropical Scoop Cake (10,500 won) and an Ethiopia Hure Station G1 anaerobic natural hand drip (7,500 won), and the sweet-tart passion fruit and grapefruit paired well with the tropical-fruit notes of the coffee. Standard Square is a Songdo café worth returning to for anyone who loves fruity coffee and zesty desserts.

Two sundae gopchang stir-fries near Yeonsu Station: Yeonsu Gopchang

Yeonsu Gopchang Yeonsu Main Branch is a gopchang (beef small intestine) and makchang restaurant on Saemmal-ro 21beon-gil near Yeonsu Station in Incheon. On an early public-holiday evening, two friends chose sundae (Korean blood sausage) gopchang stir-fry and white sundae gopchang stir-fry for the 39,900 won build-your-own combo set. They added a cheese bomb steamed egg and fried rice. With muksabal (acorn jelly in cold broth), bean powder at the self-serve bar and even mouthwash and floss in the restroom, Yeonsu Gopchang is a place worth returning to whenever a sundae gopchang craving hits.

Wunder Coffee Bar Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch is an open coffee bar tucked at the back of the Food Square on basement level 1 of the Hyundai Premium Outlet in Songdo, Yeonsu, Incheon. After lunch with a friend, the writer ordered a vanilla Wunder Gato and a hojicha-vanilla mix at 7,500 won each, and found soft serve piled like a mountain over espresso, with the hojicha's tea aroma matching the coffee's flavor. For coffee that drinks more like dessert, the Wunder Gato at Wunder Coffee Bar is the answer.

Songdo sushi restaurant with a 13-piece ₩35,900 set: Sushi Doku

Sushi Doku The Songdo is a Japanese sushi set restaurant on the 2nd floor of Onesta Mall in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. Arriving right at the weekday opening, the writer ordered the premium sushi set (₩35,900 per person), 13 pieces served with salad, udon, karaage, shrimp tempura and chawanmushi. About nine parties were already waiting by noon, so Sushi Doku The Songdo is best visited at opening or at 5pm right after the break.
