Gimssi Chicken is a dakgangjeong (sweet and spicy fried chicken) and old-style whole fried chicken shop inside Dongwon Market by Myeonmok Station in Jungnang, Seoul, after moving from Myeonmok Market near Sagajeong Station. On a weekend evening visit without a reservation, the order was medium-spicy dakgangjeong and one whole old-style fried chicken to go, handed over after a roughly 15-minute wait with a number ticket, paid with Onnuri gift vouchers. The seasoning at Gimssi Chicken tastes exactly as it did before the move, which makes the trip to the new location worth it.

Jongno 3-ga bakery onion bagel big enough for a meal: Munhwa Bakery

Munhwa Bakery is a takeout-only bakery in Ikseon-dong near Exit 7 of Jongno 3-ga Station in Jongno, Seoul. On a return visit the onion bagel, filled with cream cheese and chopped onion, was big enough to count as a meal rather than a snack, while the first-time garlic baguette had a gentle rather than sharp garlic aroma balanced by a soft sweetness.
