Hagik-dong bulgogi spot: beef set for 2 and omija tea, Dongchuwon
In short
Dongchuwon Bulgogi (동추원불고기) is a Korean beef (hanu) bulgogi restaurant near Singi Market in Hagik-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon. For a weekend family gathering, the writer ordered the hanu bulgogi set for 2, which came with dessert naengmyeon (cold noodles) and omija tea (five-flavor berry tea). The highlights were a burger made by piling bulgogi and cheese onto the side bread and side dishes like gat (mustard leaf) pickles. Dongchuwon Bulgogi is a solid pick for a family meal with parents and kids.

What kind of restaurant is Dongchuwon Bulgogi?
Dongchuwon Bulgogi (동추원불고기) is a Korean beef bulgogi restaurant near Sinki Market in Hagik-dong, Incheon. I went for a weekend family gathering, and it has been listed in the Blue Ribbon Survey for 5 years straight, from 2022 to 2026 👍
Picking a place for a family gathering is always a headache, right? Somewhere the grown-ups like, the kids like, with a decent atmosphere too... haha. The point is that I finally found a place that ticks all of those boxes!!

(The entrance is covered in a whole row of award stickers, which surprised me too, wow)
Dongchuwon Bulgogi location, parking and table ordering

Dongchuwon Bulgogi is on Hagikso-ro in Hagik-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon. For parking, use a nearby public lot or a designated lot. They offer parking support when you eat there!
It's close to Sinki Market, so it's pretty easy to reach by public transport too. You order by table order at your seat, so there's no calling over staff and waiting, which was really nice ✨

Does Dongchuwon Bulgogi have private rooms?
The seating is quite spacious, so I wasn't worried about waiting, and it seems they run about 2 private rooms too. Perfect for anyone in Incheon looking for a restaurant with rooms 😊

Hanu bulgogi set vs. regular menu: what's the difference?

The difference between the Korean beef bulgogi set and the regular menu is that the set includes dessert naengmyeon (cold noodles) plus omija tea (five-flavor berry tea)! We ordered the set for 2.

Honestly, the set with naengmyeon is much better value. After stuffing yourself with bulgogi, you can finish with either mul naengmyeon (cold broth noodles) or bibim naengmyeon (spicy mixed noodles), your choice!

As you can see in the photo, it came out really neat 🍜
How good is the hanu bulgogi beef?
The beef quality was honestly better than I expected. When it's served to you, the vividly bright-red Korean beef is plated so temptingly.

The pot is packed with ingredients like assorted mushrooms, kabocha squash, glass noodles and bok choy, and the more the broth develops, the deeper the flavor gets, seriously!!
Side dishes and the bulgogi cheese burger tip at Dongchuwon Bulgogi

Every single side dish was delicious. The gat (mustard leaf) pickles were unique and tasty, so fresh, and the kimchi was well fermented and went great with the meat 😋

And this is a real tip: bread comes out as a side, and you can top it with bulgogi and sprinkle cheese on it to make a burger!! It's way tastier than you'd think, wow... it vanished while I was taking photos haha. It's even better with the pickled onions!
Staff, weekend atmosphere and the ice cream send-off
Table order made ordering easy, and the staff were good too.

I went on a weekend and there were a lot of families. It was noisy but lively, which honestly made it better, if anything.

You can have dessert ice cream on your way out too! They also sell meal-kit-style products near the exit, so if you want to enjoy Dongchuwon Bulgogi's flavors at home, you could take some back. I'm planning to buy one next time 👍
Who should eat at Dongchuwon Bulgogi?
- Anyone looking for a family meal spot to take their parents
- Anyone looking for a Korean restaurant with private rooms in Incheon
- Anyone who wants sweetly savory meat that pleases everyone
- Anyone exploring good eats near Sinki Market or Hagik-dong

If you're hunting for a good place in Hagik-dong, Incheon, I sincerely recommend Dongchuwon Bulgogi!!!! Order the Korean beef bulgogi set and be sure to have the naengmyeon too :) I don't think there's a better place for a lively meal with the whole family 🥩✨
