Today I'm sharing a very satisfied review of Hekbap Kkachisan Branch, a great spot near Kkachisan Station. It has lots of good-value dishes, plus a roomy space with seats for solo diners all the way up to big groups, and I'd really recommend it for a date too. Okay, let me tell you about this meal I enjoyed so much~
Where is Hekbap Kkachisan Branch, and what are its hours?
Hekbap Kkachisan Branch is at 35 Gangseo-ro, 2nd floor, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, 99 m from Exit 3 of Kkachisan Station. It's open daily from 11:00 to 21:00.
Hekbap signature dishes
- Rice bowls (donburi): The restaurant says the meat is pan-seared at 200 degrees the moment you order and finished with Hekbap's own sauce. Choose from smoky, flavorful steak bowls and beef intestine bowls to generous bowls of fresh salmon, depending on your taste.
- Ramen: A hearty bowl of deep, rich broth simmered long in the traditional Japanese way, with chewy noodles.
- Curry and katsu: There's also curry made Hekbap's own way, and thick, crispy katsu (breaded cutlet) dishes.
- Udon: Japanese-style udon with chewy sanuki noodles and a deep bonito broth.

What the three of us ordered, and the review event
At Hekbap Kkachisan Branch, our family ordered the pork jowl bowl set, the diner-style giant pork cutlet (with extra mini udon) and the pork rib bowl. We sat down and headed straight to ordering! The menu is full of so many tasty options~ and the prices are good, so I thought the value was great too.
They also had a review event on when we visited: join in and you get 5 takoyaki balls or 1 drink, so do take part^^

Is Hekbap Kkachisan Branch easy to visit with a child?
Hekbap Kkachisan Branch has high chairs and disposable aprons. After ordering, I looked around and found that the table has tips on how to eat the dishes the tasty way, haha. It's worth following them!

Our order was delivered by a robot, like this~~ haha

Pork jowl bowl set: with mini udon, fried chicken karaage and rice cake
The first dish is the pork jowl bowl set I chose. It came with a nice variety of sides: mini udon, fried chicken karaage and rice cake~ And above all, doesn't the pork jowl bowl look so, so delicious? haha

Pork rib bowl: our child finished a whole bowl alone
The second dish is the pork rib bowl our child chose. It's a dish that can hardly be bad, but our child really ate it so well, lol. Finishing a whole bowl alone says it all, right?^^ Seeing our child eat so well made me so happy, and I thought we definitely have to come back!

Diner-style giant pork cutlet + extra mini udon
The third dish is the diner-style giant pork cutlet with extra mini udon that my husband chose. A really big cutlet!! It was generous and tasty, just like the nostalgic flavor you remember~ My husband added the mini udon too and had a proper good meal, haha

Our family dinner at Hekbap Kkachisan Branch: the verdict
The three dishes were also nice to share a little with each other, and every one of them was delicious, the fact is^^ I got a strong feeling that whatever you order at Hekbap Kkachisan Branch will be good.
And even while we were eating, there were so many delivery orders, haha. I think I saw delivery orders at least 3 times?? I fully accept Hekbap Kkachisan Branch as a delivery favorite too! I recommend coming and trying it^^
