The moment I stepped into Sijeunikeu, the air was full of sweet mango and fragrant peach, and it felt like I'd wandered into a fruit farm.

How does the mango cake at Sijeunikeu taste?

Sijeunikeu is a place where you can enjoy seasonal fruit desserts made the same day, which made me trust it even more. The cream is 100% dairy cream, so it never felt heavy to the very end! Since the cake is made that day, the fruit is generous and you can feel how fresh it is, and it looks so pretty that it works great as a gift too.

The mango was ripened perfectly, with the best sweetness and juiciness! Not a hint of bitterness, just a perfect state!

The Mango Top Cake Mini has 3 whole mangoes in it, so it didn't feel too expensive to me. Fruit prices have gone up so much lately, haven't they? T_T Since it was just the two of us, we went with the Mango Top Cake Mini!

I bought mango this time, but the peach looked so good too that I'm planning to go back soon! The peach cake is so pretty that I bet it photographs beautifully. Highly recommended as a gift!

Is Sijeunikeu takeout okay on a hot day?

The staff packed it with care, with candles, a bread knife, an ice pack and more, so the cake was totally fine even though the weather was hot! We ate the Mango Top Cake Mini with coffee.

The ingredients are all high quality, so instead of an artificial sweetness you get the natural flavor of the ingredients! The cream isn't too sweet either, so I think people of all ages and genders would enjoy it!

My friend and I made a wish too, haha.

Is Sijeunikeu Centum City worth a return visit?

Sijeunikeu is inside Shinsegae Department Store Centum City, so parking and access are easy, and I was really happy with desserts made the same day from fresh seasonal fruit.

Having visited in person, what impressed me most was how generously they use fresh seasonal fruit. Because the desserts are made the same day, you can taste the fruit's freshness and rich juice, and the smooth 100% dairy cream on top meant I could enjoy it comfortably to the end. The sweetness of the fruit and the clean taste of the cream blended together nicely, a flavor anyone of any age or gender would like, and I could feel the care put into the ingredients the whole time I ate.

Above all, thanks to the showy looks, I think it would please people as a cake for a special day, and as a gift for a birthday, an anniversary or to say thanks. If you like fresh fruit desserts or you're looking for a premium cake to give as a gift, it should be a satisfying choice. It stayed with me as a place I'd like to come back to, to try the seasonal fruit desserts that change each season.
