Jung-gu Chinese restaurant for Taiwanese beef noodle soup: Huhugwan
Huhugwan is a modern Asian Chinese izakaya on the 2nd floor at 2 Seosomun-ro 11-gil in Jung-gu, Seoul, a 1–2 minute walk from Exit 10 of City Hall Station. Two diners ordered three dishes at Huhugwan — garlic scape fried rice at 11,000 won, stir-fried water spinach at 9,000 won and beef noodle soup at 15,000 won — sharing fluffy fried rice, crunchy water spinach and a light Taiwanese-style beef noodle soup. Huhugwan is worth a stop when you want Chinese food in a different direction from jjajangmyeon and jjamppong.
