Makeup-day cleansing balm: HEEDA Jirisan Charcoal Moist

How did it remove makeup?

I used it to remove my usual base makeup, sunscreen, and lip products. When I applied an appropriate amount to my dry face and rolled it in slowly, the balm melted softly with my skin temperature and became smooth like an oil. It did not drag stiffly across my skin, so it was comfortable to use with my fingertips as though massaging.

How did I emulsify and rinse it?

After melting the makeup thoroughly, I dampened my hands little by little and rolled again to emulsify it. The black balm loosened smoothly when it met water, and after emulsifying it a few times, I rinsed thoroughly with lukewarm water. For areas I wanted to clean more carefully, such as around my nose and chin, I rolled gently with my fingertips.

How did my skin feel after cleansing?

When I used it, my skin felt less severely tight or stiff immediately after cleansing. Even after removing makeup, it did not feel dry and instead felt moisturized, so I thought the wording in the product name suited how it felt to use. However, the experience may differ depending on skin type.

What days did it suit?

It may suit people who prefer a balm that melts softly rather than a runny oil texture, or who like to remove makeup by slowly rolling it in. Even after wearing makeup all day, I found myself cleansing by rolling a little more thoroughly.
