Weekend tasting of garlic oranda and gwajul at Jeju Dongmun Market
Cheongchuni Oranda Dongmun Market Main Branch Tapdong is a shop inside Jeju's Dongmun Market selling handmade oranda (soft rice puff snacks) and gwajul (fried rice cookies) that aren't hard or crunchy. On a weekend visit, the owner offered tastings of yuzu, nut, and garlic oranda plus all four gwajul flavors before a pack of garlic (mareung) oranda and gwajul, ₩10,000, was chosen. The texture is soft enough for elders and kids alike, making it a solid Jeju souvenir pick.
